Quick release sternum strap (Velcro)

The pack is equipped with a height-adjustable sternum strap to keep pack straps from sliding off of children with narrow shoulders. The sternum strap comes with an emergency quick-release feature that disengages the strap when force is applied. This ensures that the neck will not be choked by the strap if the pack gets caught on something.
