This combination blends the natural warmth and moisture controlling abilities of wool with polyester's wicking and quick drying abilities. Can be used as an inner layer during the winter and as an outer layer during summer treks in high altitudes and cool weather.

Wool fabric that has excellent warmth and is quick to dry
Wool on its own has the ability to trap large amounts of warm air, however once soaked dry times are lengthy. To optimize performance we have integrated polyester fibers on the interior (70% MERINO WOOL,　30% polyester) layer of the fabric to disperse perspiration and speed evaporative drying.

High Thermal Performance
Fine gauge wool fibers keep you comfortable in summer by moving moisture away from your skin for evaporative cooling and warm in winter by creating many micro-pockets for body heat to congregate. You also see a thermal benefit from wool’s natural ability to create warmth through the phenomenon called “heat of sorption.”

Long Lasting Thermal Performance
Our “Natural Wash” treatment preserves the protective scales on individual wool fibers guaranteeing longevity of their natural thermal properties.

Blocks more than 90% of UV radiation
UV Cut is the percentage of UVA / UVB radiation that a fabric blocks from reaching your skin. UV Cut is affected by fabric color, weave/knit, and material. We base our testing standards on white fabric, generally the least effective. Even our light-colored fabrics block more than 90%of UV radiation, offering a way to reduce exposure. Use sunscreen and other methods to further increase protection. (Exceptions may apply to mesh fabrics.)
•UV Cut is NOT the same as UPF, which measures how much UVA / UVB a fabric allows to reach your skin. These are NOT equivalent ratings and use different testing methods.
