Since there is no face fabric to absorb water, water simply beads off the outer surface. Do NOT use this product in any way that would expose the outer layer to friction, such as shouldering a backpack. May cause damage or rip the fabric, resulting in water penetration. In addition, do NOT place this product near sharp objects or apply excessive force.
