About the material: Core Spun

Core Spun fabrics utilize unique fibers with a "core-in-sheath" structure. By taking polyester core fibers and surrounding it with cotton yarns we can optimize the positive qualities of both materials. Polyester, being naturally hydrophobic, serves to limit the amount of moisture absorbed by the fabric allowing for greatly accelerated dry times. By requiring less intense heat during the drying process the individual yarns are less susceptible to shrink, yielding a virtually wrinkle free garment. In addition, the polyester fibers increase durability when compared to traditional cotton.
